Program

Saturday

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM—Decrees and Songs for Surya Day. For those who would like to come early to decree, we will have recordings in the sanctuary for you to help build a beautiful forcefield of protection and violet flame.

10:00 AM- 12:00 PM—Appointments with a minister. Two ministers will be available for individual appointments: Rev. Ana Maria Dean and/or Rev. Lois Drake. This is an opportunity to talk about the teachings, ask questions, ask for prayers, and have ministerial mentoring for life-situations. Please call Lois Drake to set up an appointment at the new center for 20-40 minutes. 406-581-7546. Meetings are available in English or Spanish. There is no charge.

12:00 PM – 12:15 PM—Meet and Greet. We can hardly wait to welcome you and give you a tour. People are coming from far and wide…Northern California, Arizona, Nevada, Montana, and all around the LA Area. (If you are driving a long distance, many of us will be staying at the Embassy Suites Arcadia—only a few minutes from the Center—626-445-8525.)

12:15 PM – 2:00 PM—Light Lunch Buffet Courtesy of the Los Angeles Teaching Center at the Center.

2:00 PM—Welcome and Greetings in the Main Sanctuary—President Patricia Butterworth will introduce our Board and our guests who will share welcoming thoughts and comments.

Around 2:30 PM or 3:00 PM – 3:30—Break and Hotel Check-in for those staying at Embassy Suites

3:30 PM—Rev. Peter Duffy Presentation—Rev. Peter will give a presentation on the spiritual history of Los Angeles—the seat-of-the-soul chakra of America. Learn of the dispensations from the masters for Los Angeles and the challenges and opportunities for this city, which plays such a key role in the destiny of not only the nation but also the planet.

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM—Early Saint Germain Service Led by Rev. Ana Maria Dean, Rev. Lois Drake, and Others. The 23rd is the day that the cosmic being Surya visits our planet and multiplies all of our decrees. This service, we pray, will be powerful, but slower-paced and including movement so we all can experience together the joy of healing the soul of America.

6:00 PM—Dinner. A restaurant for dinner will be announced where we can all meet together, and each pick up his or her own tab while enjoying the holy spirit of fellowship.

(Note: if we have at least two people who are able to be present at the Center, some attendees may wish to return after dinner and decree with the service broadcast from Montana. Otherwise, the service is accessible for individual use online.)

Sunday

(Those traveling home on Sunday will need to check out of their hotel and bring their luggage to the Center. Car pools to the Center will be organized if needed.)

10:00 AM—Meet and Greet

10:30 AM – 12:30 PM—Sunday Service Conducted by Rev. Peter Duffy. The service will be dedicated to beloved Jesus and to beloved Magda, his twin flame, who was embodied as the evangelist Aimee Semple-McPherson. Her inspiring story offers a vision of the victory that is possible in the City of the Angels. The service will include live music and celebration of the ritual of Holy Communion.

12:30 PM—2:00 PM—Pot Fortune Lunch, Rev. Peter Meeting with Youth and Young Adults, and Short Community Meeting. If you live locally, please bring your favorite dish to share. During lunch, Rev. Peter will have the opportunity to meet with our young people. That will begin for them at about 1:00 PM in the sanctuary. After that, we will all move into the sanctuary around 1:45 PM or 2:00 PM for a Community Meeting where you can hear plans for outreach and in-reach, have a Waters of Life Capital Campaign update, ask questions and share your victories.

3:00 PM—Car-pool to the Arboretum and Enjoy Time with Nature. If you have time, some may wish to car-pool a few miles to the Arboretum. Those who decide to go will need to book tickets online. $15-General Admission. $11-Seniors. The Arboretum closes at 5:00 PM and the last admission is at 4:30 PM. www.arboretum.org 301 N. Baldwin Ave., Arcadia, CA 91007. 626-821-3222. The Huntington Library and Botanicial Garden is also very close. It requires a reservation on the weekend and it is best to have more time for enjoyment. It can be a future field trip.

(Note: unfortunately we will not be able to offer this Grand Opening event on Zoom. We do hope to record some portions so that they can be posted. We hope you can make it for some or all of the program in person. Please let us know how we can help you.)

We can hardly wait to see you!
